'Kibir' International Women's Day Film Festival
The 'Kibir' International Women's Day Film Festival, organized by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), will take place on 8 March 2026, at Videobet Cinema. The event will feature a panel discussion with Meaza Ashenafi (protagonist of Difret), Zeresenay Berhane Mehari (director of Difret), Bethelihem Birhane (screenwriter and producer of Hidote), and Samuel Teshager (writer, producer, and director of Hidote). The festival is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Entry is free; however, RSVP is required due to limited seating capacity.

African Premiere of Buen Camino by Checco Zalone
The African premiere of Buen Camino by Checco Zalone, currently the highest-grossing film in Italy, will be screened at the Italian Cultural Institute in Piazza. The film follows a father's journey along the Camino de Santiago in search of his daughter, blending comedy and emotion. This screening marks the opening of the Creative Hub Ethiopia Filmmaking Academy and will be followed by a Q&A session with Benedetto Habib, Francesca Medolago Albani, and Sergio Del Prete. The film will be shown in Italian with English subtitles. Entry is free.
