Voices of Resistance Against FGM - Jaha's Promise Documentary Screening
Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary "Jaha's Promise", which follows Gambian activist Jaha Dukureh as she fights to end female genital mutilation (FGM). After surviving FGM and an early forced marriage, she returns to The Gambia to challenge harmful traditions and protect future generations of girls. The event will also feature refreshments and a panel discussion. Doors open at 4:00 PM and screening starts at 5:00 PM. Entrance is free, but seating is limited, so RSVP is required.
